Colorado-based Campaign Wants to Help Support First Responders – LPC
Cannabis Against COVID Campaign founder Dave Sheldon said that COVID-19 could claim more lives than Vietnam.
“Legalizing cannabis delivery has incredible potential to combat this pandemic in a real and direct way, overnight,” Sheldon said. “Think about the kind of support that this money could help provide for the frontline medical workers actually fighting this war.”
Sheldon, a concert promoter in Boulder, Col., said that he’s reaching out to musicians and celebrities to get behind the cause.
“Legalization and delivery could do wonders to help rescue the economy and American workforce,” he said. Cannabis Against COVID has a bigger cause though, he said. “But most importantly (they will) raise tens of millions immediately to fight COVID.”
No word if the Colorado state government will change the law. Ontario recently allowed cannabis delivery and pickup in an emergency bill after closing cannabis stores on the weekend.
