When was cannabis legalized in Canada?

Canada’s Cannabis Act made cannabis legalized for adult use on October 17, 2018. Legal age is determined by each province; currently, the legal age is 19 years in every province and territory except Alberta, where it is 18 years, and Quebec, 21 years.
